El 15 de mayo,\u00a0The International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA) public\u00f3 el informe 2024<\/a>\u00a0sobre \u201cDesarrollo y Acceso a la Informaci\u00f3n\u201d \/ \u201cDevelopment and Access to Information (DA2I)\u201d (\u00e9sta es la\u00a0p\u00e1gina de descarga<\/a>\u00a0o tambi\u00e9n se puede\u00a0descargar pdf<\/a>\u00a0en ingl\u00e9s). El nuevo informe, continuidad de los reportes previos de\u00a02017<\/a>\u00a0y\u00a02019<\/a>, es una iniciativa conjunta de \u201cThe International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA)\u201d, el \u201cTechnology and Social Change Group\u201d de la University of Washington y de la \u201cStichting IFLA Global Libraries\u201d. Puntualmente, se aboca a analizar la relevancia que tiene el acceso universal y significativo a la informaci\u00f3n en momentos que promedia la implementaci\u00f3n de los Objetivos del Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS) de la Organizaci\u00f3n de Naciones Unidas (Agenda 2030). Muchas de las contribuciones del informe consideran que el acceso a la informaci\u00f3n es un prerrequisito esencial, una especie de condici\u00f3n, para alcanzar el desarrollo socio-econ\u00f3mico y fortalecer las democracias.
